                What we believe

Mission Statement

Making Disciples of Jesus Christ for the Transformation of the World

Vision Statement

A home of belonging, growing in outreach and diversity to build community in Christ

Core Values

Bible Knowledge:  A familiarity with the truths of the Scriptures

We believe the Bible is the inerrant, inspired Word of God for life transforming relationships in and with Jesus Christ.   (Psalm 1:1-3, Proverbs 24:14, 2 Timothy 3:16–17, John 1:1–5)

Prayer:  Communicating with God

We believe prayer is the foundation of all we do as followers of Christ.

           (1 Thessalonians 5:16–18, James 5:16, Matthew 18:18–19, 2 Chronicles 7:14, Colossians 4:2)

Worship:  Attributing worth to God

We believe worship strengthens our spiritual growth and provides us with a public means of expressing our love and thankfulness to God corporately and individually.

          (John 4:23–24, Luke 4:8, 1 Chronicles 16:29)

Cooperation:  The act of working together in the service of the Savior

We believe working in a spirit of unity is the best way we can fulfill our purpose of making disciples for the transformation of the world.

(1 Corinthians 3:8–9, 1 Corinthians 12:4–7, 1 Corinthians 14:12, Exodus 17:12, Philippians 2:12–13, Psalm 32:8)

Encouragement: Giving hope to people who need some hope

We believe it is our accepted call to carry the Good News of Jesus Christ to as many people and in as many places as we are able.   (Isaiah 40:31, Romans 8:38–39, Acts 2:42–47, Hebrews 10:24–25)
